Numerous Items Taken During Residential Break In

Sometime between 6:30pm on January 13thand 10:30am on January 14th, 2020, a residence under renovation located near the intersection of Gordon Street and College Avenue East in the City of Guelph was entered. Numerous items were taken including tools, and both the front and back doors were damaged.

Windows Damaged During Attempted Residential Break In

On January 14th, 2020, at 7am, an adult female was home alone inside her residence located near the intersection of Fife Road and Wellington Street West in the City of Guelph, when she heard glass breaking from a front window of the house. She then discovered that the window had been smashed with a rock.

At 7:30am, the female heard glass breaking from a window at the back of the house. She then discovered another smashed window. She then heard commotion at her back patio door and observed an adult female, possibly of South Asian descent, attempting to smash open the door. However, upon seeing the resident the unknown female fled the scene.

Police attended the area but were unable to locate the female.

Approximately $2,800 worth of damage was caused during the attempted break in.

Cash Box Stolen During Commercial Break In

Sometime over night on January 13th, 2020, a business located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Victoria Road North in the City of Guelph was entered. A cash box was taken.
