IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT
(BRANT TWP, ON) – On September 14, 2012 at 11:05 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 10 in Brant Township stopped a Silver Ford Edge. The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.
46 year old Jeffrey VANDERVOORT of Chesley has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on October 22, 2012 to answer to the charge.

IMPAIRED DRIVER CAUGHT GAMBLING WITH PUBLIC SAFETY
(WALKERTON, ON) – On September 12, 2012 at 1:19 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Durham Street East in Walkerton stopped a Black Subaru. The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.
60 year old Beverley PARKER of Walkerton has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on October 22, 2012 to answer to the charge.

ROAD TRIP WITH LIQUOR LEADS TO CHARGES
(LUCKNOW, ON) – On September 16, 2012 at 3:10 am, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Ross Street in Lucknow, stopped a Grey Chevrolet GM4. The officer found open alcohol in the vehicle.
The 22 year old driver received a 3 day licence suspension and was charged for Drive with open container of liquor. The 24 year old and 21 year old passengers were both charged with Consuming liquor other than residence.
"Drinking alcohol while driving is ridiculous! It's a totally unacceptable risk to everyone on the roads.
