In 2008, the Guelph Police Service began their social media platform overhaul with the re-design and subsequent launch of www.guelphpolice.com. Since that time, they have implemented two Twitter accounts @Chief_BLarkin and @GpsMedia and a Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/gpsmedia in attempts to provide better community engagement opportunities through social media.
