NO INJURIES REPORTED AT 3 VEHICLE CRASH
(WALKERTON, ON) – On October 15, 2012 at 8:52 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 3 vehicle crash on Durham Street East in Walkerton. Officers arrived to find that a Grey Pontiac SSEI hit a White Honda Civic which was pushed into a Green GMC Sierra pickup truck.
Both the Honda Civic and GMC Sierra were stopped at the time as the driver of the pickup was waiting for an opportunity to turn left. The 17 year old female driver of the Pontiac has been charged with Careless driving. There were no injuries reported at this crash.

BOTH DRIVERS INJURED AT INTERSECTION CRASH
(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On October 12, 2012 at 3:27 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 21 in Kincardine Township.
Officers arrived to find that a Beige Ford Focus was travelling west on Highway 9 when the driver failed to stop for a traffic light and hit a Grey Hyundai Elantra travelling north on Highway 21. The driver of the Focus, 28 year old Julie SAVAGE of London, was charged with Fail to stop for red light. Both drivers were treated for minor injuries received in the crash.

DAMAGE AT FORMER PUBLIC SCHOOL
(WALKERTON, ON) – On October 17, 2012 at 8:12 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of property damage at the former Walkerton Public School located along Colborne Street South in Walkerton. Officers arrived to find that the main entrance door had a window smashed out, but no one was found inside.
On October 17, 2012 at 3:17, South Bruce OPP officers responded to an alarm at the former Walkerton Public School on Colborne Street South. A window was found smashed and the gym door was propped open when officers arrived, but no one was found on the property.
On October 12, 2012 at 5:42 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a report that someone had thrown a rock through a window of the former Walkerton Public School, but no one was found inside.
Damaging someone else's property is a criminal act called Mischief. The offence of Mischief carries a maximum penalty of 2 years in prison where the value of the damage is less than $5,000.
