GCC Announces New Board Of Directors

Guelph, November 2017: The Guelph Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its incoming 2017-2018 Board of Directors duly elected at the Chamber's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held Tuesday November 14 at the Holiday Inn Guelph.

The Guelph Chamber's incoming 2017-2018 Board of Directors are:

"As the leading voice of business, the Guelph Chamber is directed by a Board that provides guidance and strategic oversight to management," says Stefan Wiesen, incoming Chair of the Board of Directors. "Each year, the Chamber's Membership, of over 800 businesses and organizations, elects Directors to the Board that will direct the organization on its Members' behalf through the coming year."

"As Directors, we have much work to do as the Chamber continues to implement its Strategic Plan 2015-2018," adds Wiesen. "The organization's mission to be the leading business organization, providing thought leadership to drive community growth and economic prosperity is ambitious. Its vision to set the national standard for fostering community prosperity is bold. I remain confident that, with this talented Board and the Chamber team, our goals are attainable."

"We have already done much to begin implementing the organization's Strategic Plan 2015-2018.
