Crime Stoppers Corner - December 2017 Edition

Web posted on December 05, 2017

No doubt about it; it's a busy time of year.

Shopping, visiting and hosting are all part of the holiday season which lasts into the New Year. This year, Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW) has an option that can help take some of the stress off.

The Spirit of Crimes Stoppers is a gift certificate that you can customize, and can be in any denomination. Go to our website at and click "The Spirit Of Crime Stoppers" on the menu bar to make your online donation. We'll mail your gift certificate to you and you'll have a gift to pass along to your recipient.

This is the perfect solution for those of us who hate wrapping presents, or have a `hard to buy for' person on the list. It's personal, it's customizable, and it's supporting an active program in the City of Guelph and County of Wellington.

All funds given through The Spirit of Crime Stoppers will be used for program awareness. This is a unique way to give to a charity in your community, knowing that it is working to reduce and resolve crime.

Didn't realize CSGW is a charity? It is. As a charitable non-profit organization, CSGW can offer tax receipts for donations of $10 and more. We accept personal donations to our program as well as corporate support. Think of us if you are choosing a community organization for your year-end donation. We recognize these donations in a variety of ways, and would be happy to talk to you about how your gift can benefit CSGW.

To those who are celebrating the various holidays in the coming weeks, we wish you all the best and look forward to a Happy, and Safe, New Year!

For more information on CSGW, go to Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube!
