Guelph Hydro To Conduct Phone Survey

Web posted on January 08, 2018

(GUELPH, ON) January 2018 Starting on January 8, 2018, UtilityPULSE, an opinion research firm, will be conducting a short Electrical Safety Awareness telephone survey on behalf of Guelph Hydro Electric Systems Inc. The purpose of the survey is to gauge the level of awareness regarding electrical safety in the communities of Guelph and Rockwood.

UtilityPULSE staff will ask survey respondents a series of questions dealing with safety topics related to powerlines, green transformer boxes, etc. The survey will take approximately five minutes to complete.

"Safety is Guelph Hydro's number one priority," says Pankaj Sardana, Chief Executive Officer of Guelph Hydro Electric Systems Inc. "If you receive a call, please consider participating. Your responses will help us better target our public safety communications to help prevent electrical injuries or fatalities in our community."

Results of the survey will be included on the Guelph Hydro Annual Scorecard that will be released in the fall of 2018 and posted on the company's website.

Customers should note that although UtilityPULSE staff will request some basic demographic information, they will never ask for a Guelph Hydro account number, home address, credit card number or banking information. Customers are reminded to always beware of fraudulent calls and never release account number or financial information to unknown callers.

Further information about the survey can be obtained by contacting Guelph Hydro's Customer Service Department at 519-822-3010 or email
