Three youths and an adult are charged with mischief after a horse and buggy was attacked with paintballs near Elmira last month.

People in a white pickup truck allegedly attacked a horse and buggy as it moved on a path near Lions Park at Whippoorwill and Barnswallow Drives in Elmira. No one was injured in the Dec. 29 attack.

Waterloo Regional Police investigated vandalism to the Floradale Parochial School Dec. 22, where someone entered the building and sprayed paintballs in a basement room and classroom.

The suspects are charged with break, enter and commit a criminal act and for mischief under $5,000.

A paintball gun and 202 paintballs were seized by police.

Police believe both paintball incidents are related. However, it is "not believed to be targeted against the Mennonite community."
